The main body of the Informal House should not be machine washed or put in a dryer. Hand wash it in lukewarm water using a mild detergent, then air dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.

For the cushion, the cover should be washed gently in a laundry bag on a gentle cycle. The inner material is best hand-washed with a mild detergent to prevent clumping.
